OUR MISSION
The European School of Embalming Skills organises facial restoration workshops in the anatomy laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine St Etienne (France). The philosophy of this course is "open casket", that is to say, we wish to push the boundaries of the practitioner to further enable their skills to develop in providing a dignified and sincere way of reconstructing their cases- this will enable their results to be warmly received by the families of the deceased. Therefore, our goal is to provide a structured course of integral methods that will enable the practitioner to deal with all manner of facial reconstruction.

The European School of Embalming skills has earned its positive reputation because we go out of our way to provide truly exceptional tutoring to our students. This enables them to go on and pursue their careers safe in the knowledge that they have learnt a difficult process to the best of their abilities and that this will only further their skills with regards to dealing with the deceased.

Introduction to restorative art.
Specific techniques of reconstructive embalming.
Theory of restorative art.
Sutures, using wax.
Reduced oedema – Black eye.
Fracture of the jaw.
Stop purge (surgical method).
Reconstruction of a skull after trauma.
Emaciated deceased.
Cosmetics post mortem Airbrush.
Arterial research: Practical.
